2021 Quiz Camp Registration:

  1. Print and fill out the VA Quiz Camp medical release (2021). Then, have your parents sign it and send a copy to info@vaquiz.org.
  2. Register Online Here
  3. Pay Online (preferred) via:
  4. Cash or Check (payable to “Virginia District NYI”) can also be accepted at check-in.
  5. If you drop out or cancel registration after August 19th, 2021, full payment is still expected/required.

 

2021 Quiz Camp Information:

Cost: $90/person (includes 2 nights lodging and 5 meals)

Registration Deadline : Saturday August 14, 2021 (current quizzers) Thursday August 19, 2021 (new participants)

Dates: August 27 – 29, 2021

Location: Virginia Nazarene Camp and Retreat Center
1151 High School Road, Buckingham VA 23921

Arrival and Check In: Friday 7pm

Departure: Sunday 1pm

Participants: 6th – 12th Grade (Age 11-17)
**Parents and families are welcome to attend. Pre-schoolers and younger are free. School aged children and older will need to pay full registration fee. Childcare will not be provided. Childcare of younger siblings of Camp Participants is solely the responsibility of the parent/guardian. Student Participants may be 10yrs old at the time of Camp if they are going to turn 11yrs old by the end of the quiz season (May 31, 2022)

Meals: Saturday (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Sunday (Breakfast & Lunch)

Housing: There are separate dormitories for males and females. This year there is an extremely limited number of family or adult housing options. Family housing will be limited to those that have small children. There will be an extra charge for family housing.

Camp Activities: Camp will consist of worship services as well as “how to quiz” and “how to up your quiz game” seminars and quiz competition for beginners, intermediate, and advanced level quizzers. This event is especially helpful for those who are brand new to the program and want to learn how quizzing works. The campground also has a host of new recreational opportunities which we will be taking advantage of this year. These include but are not limited to: 9 Square, Human Foosball, Laser Tag, and Knockerball.
